Oct 11: Assistance Fund executed a 500K HYPE buyback ($20M). The Assistance Fund is 97% made up of protocol fees - meaning that, in addition to the $40M HLP earned from liquidations, another $20M+ came from protocol fees used to buy back HYPE. It’s obvious that Defillama’s stats are off. This is insane

In the Additional context, it’s the sum of Perp, Spot, and HLP, but Defillama’s statistical criteria contradict Polymarket’s conditions. Complete nonsense - they need to fix this

Defillama doesn’t account for the $20M in protocol fees simply because it comes from liquidations. Other dashboards, like Hypurrscan and ASXN, include it. The $20M earned from fees is a fact - we just need to use other data sources besides Defillama to determine it accurately

Are you even reading what I wrote? Or are you part of the Defillama team too? Besides Hypurr, the $20M in fees is also shown on ASXN, Dune, Artemis, and so on. You can check the AF wallet yourself and see with your own eyes that it buy back 500K HYPE ($20M)
