June ends next Monday. A ceasefire is not a tweet or a simple statement from Trump. It is a material, sustained agreement between two parties. The enriched uranium has been moved to a different location. Hostilities between Israel and Iran will likely resume by Tuesday and will not cease until there is a regime change.
2025-06-29 15:07:30
This market requires an official ceasefire agreement, that is, a publicly announced and mutually agreed halt in military engagement between two nations. The rules clearly state that unilateral statements will not qualify if they do not reflect a mutually agreed halt. One nation's official spokesperson has explicitly denied that a ceasefire exists. Trumpâs personal statements, aimed at satisfying his compulsive need to act as a global arbitrator, do not constitute a binding agreement. Furthermore, it is abundantly clear that Israel's strategic objectives remain unmet, particularly regarding the Iranian nuclear facilities, which have been damaged but not destroyed, the primary objective that triggered the strikes in the first place. Trumpâs credibility as a global authority is eroded, whether or not the public wishes to acknowledge it. To resolve this market as âYesâ would not only violate Polymarketâs own rules, but would also irreparably damage its reputation as a trustworthy and rules-based platform. This would set a dangerous precedent: where facts are bent for narratives, and speculation overrides substance.

He ain't a political decision maker.
2025-06-29 18:03:23
This is between political decision makers. His voice isn't relevant.
2025-06-29 20:23:28
Facts to keep in mind: Iran's nuclear facilities were heavily damaged, yet not fully destroyed. The enriched uranium stockpiles were untouched by the strikes, otherwise, we would be hearing about a serious environmental nuclear catastrophe in the strike area. Iranians are regrouping and rearming, as evidenced by their defense ministerâs recent visit to China, where he is reportedly weighing the purchase of 40 Chinese J-10C fourth-generation stealth fighters. There is no doubt the conflict will continue until a regime change. Ceasefire is not the language of the Middle East.
2025-06-29 22:18:51
Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sayed Abbas Araghchi, on X (June 23, 2025, at 18:46 CST): As of now, there is NO agreement on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later. I will add: a ceasefire must be a MUTUAL agreement, not a unilateral statement by one party.
2025-06-30 00:33:24
Polym credibility as a rule-based platform is on the line with this market! A resolution ignoring its own rules will undermine its claim as a unbiased company.
2025-06-30 01:12:19
Again and I will not get tired if saying it, Polym credibility as a rule-based platform is on the line with this market.
2025-06-30 03:02:44
Again, Polym credibility as a rule-based platform is on the line with this market!
2025-06-30 03:57:03
where did you find this?
2025-06-30 05:49:22
JUNE 23: Iran Foreign Minister Araghchi: As of now, there is NO agreement on a ceasefire. JUNE 28: Israeli Air Force conducted an airstrike at a ballistic missile base of the IRGC Aerospace Force near Shiraz. Merriam-Webster dictionary ceasefire definition: agreement between opposing parties to temporarily stop hostilities. One party DIDN'T agree, another party DIDN'T stop. HOW MORE CLEARER COULD IT POSSIBLY BE?
2025-06-30 13:16:26
The so-called ceasefire that would justify the Yes resolution was NEVER agreed upon by one of the parties involved. This was confirmed by Foreign Minister Araghchi himself on his X account. A ceasefire must be mutual; otherwise, itâs not a ceasefire, itâs something else. There was NO ceasefire agreed to by both parties. Polym can't ignore this.
2025-06-30 14:00:39
The Law of Armed Conflict is based on the Hague Convention IV of 1907. Article 36 of the HagueC provides a definition of armistice -synonym for ceasefire- which includes five key components: mutual agreement, suspension of hostilities, binding character, and purpose. Trumpâs post on Truth Social on June 23 and his statements, lacked both mutual agreement and binding character. Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi confirmed this himself in a tweet that is still available. We live in a nation governed by laws, not one where individuals bend legal norms to suit their own convenience, as Trump has done with his unilateral declaration to stop hostilities. Polym must follow the law here, not their own opinion.
2025-06-30 14:40:28
If I, as a Polymarket user, am bound to follow the rules and the law, then Polymarket is under the exact same obligation. Absolutely no one gets to make up their own laws -the law stands, whether one likes it or not. According to the legal criteria provided a priori, there was no ceasefire; there was a unilateral request to stop hostilities -and, by the way, it was NOT accepted by one of the parties involved.

Great job dude! Kudos for creativity and diligence!

Link's broken. Share it again.
2025-06-30 16:47:25
International Humanitarian Law Rule 35 - A ceasefire agreement suspends ALL military operations by mutual consent. Iran's Foreign Minister confirmed on X they didn't give consent. US Dept of Defense Law of War Manual Section 12.4: ... a unilateral statement does not suffice. Declarations are political in nature. For a ceasefire to exist there must be a material cessation of hostilities, not just a declaration.
2025-06-30 18:12:45
Dude, kudos for creativity. But it's not necessary. Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi confirmed on X Iran's didn't agree to a ceasefire. The tweet is still available. Iran never agreed, and for a ceasefire there must be mutual consent. There was no mutual consent hence no ceasefire.
2025-06-30 18:21:05
You arenât wrong about this. However, you are wrong in not accepting that a ceasefire requires mutual agreement by both belligerent parties. One party never accepted it and publicly acknowledged that they didnât.
2025-06-30 18:36:24
The ONLY ABSOLUTE argument that sustains a NO resolution is that Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, publicly, undeniably, irrefutably, incontrovertibly, and beyond a shadow of a doubt stated on X (June 25, 18:46): "As of now, there is NO 'agreement' on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations." The tweet is still available. An armistice or ceasefire requires mutual agreement. He said NO. Polymarket has to say NO. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
2025-06-30 18:38:50
18 yr old's can't deal with facts and truth. That's a fact.
2025-06-30 19:36:44
This is not a government official. There is one tweet saying NO by the Foreign Affairs Minister of Iran. That's the one that counts.

2025-06-30 20:01:18

2025-06-30 22:29:59
Despite the drone strike on an IRGC high-level meeting and active air defense TONIGHT in Tehran, only one argument is relevant for this market resolution: Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, publicly, undeniably, irrefutably, incontrovertibly, and beyond a shadow of a doubt, stated on June 25 at 18:46 CST on his official and verified X account: "As of now, there is NO agreement on any ceasefire." This tweet is still available. This is not just any government official -he is the highest Iranian authority in foreign policy. A ceasefire or any other kind of agreement requires MUTUAL agreement of TWO parties. The Foreign Minister unequivocally and unambiguously SAID NO. Polymarket must say NO. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about this.
2025-06-30 23:54:40
Where are you seeing this?
2025-07-01 00:20:14
24 hours, folks. Again, because its critical. The Iranian Foreign Minister, Araghchi, publicly stated on X (June 25 18:46 CST) that his government did not accept the ceasefire proposed by the U.S. A ceasefire, by nature, is an agreement-and it REQUIRES TWO PARTIES TO AGREE. The Islamic Republic of Iran did NOT accept the deal, therefore there was never a ceasefire in place. This is not an opinion-it is a fact. Iran said NO, his foreign affairs authority said NO. Polymarket must say NO.
2025-07-01 03:13:49
It should resolve to NO. It has to resolve to NO. It must resolve to NO. Markets serve profit; justice serves truth -- and truth does not yield to pressure.
2025-07-01 03:48:02
The link you provided regarding Israel refers to ceasefire in Gaza, not Iran. If we demand justice and truth, we are the ones who should give the example.
2025-07-01 03:56:40
Anadolu Agency, Turkeyâs state-owned news agency, JUNE24: Iran says âNO AGREEMENTâ on ceasefire with Israel as of now. [link removed].tr/en/middle-east/iran-says-no-agreement-on-ceasefire-with-israel-as-of-now/3610526?utm
2025-07-01 11:30:48
Restatement of Contracts 17-1, used by US courts everyday: âThe formation of any agreement requires a bargain in which there is a manifestation of MUTUAL ASSENT to the exchange". Iranian Foreign Minister not only did NOT gave assent, but undeniably indicated on June 25 18:46 CST on his official and verified X account that the Iranian government did NOT accept to any ceasefire agreement. NO mutual consent, NO agreement, NO ceasefire. Iran said NO. Polymarket must say NO. This is not an opinion, it's a fact . There are no ifs, ands and buts to this. The truth will make us and Polymarket free.
2025-07-01 15:03:19
Can you explain wth is this??
2025-07-01 15:13:48
REMINDER: Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi, on June 25 at 18:46 CST, specifically and undeniably stated that the Iranian government did not accept any agreement brokered by the United States. That tweet is still publicly available. Any kind of agreement -- including a ceasefire -- requires at least two parties to give consent. Iran said NO. Its highest foreign policy authority said NO. Polymarket has no choice but to say NO.
2025-07-01 18:13:11

Capitalism and truth do live in the same place. That's the essence of the United States of America. Polymarket must resolve a NO.
2025-07-01 23:19:35
40 minutes, folks. A ceasefire, by definition, is an agreement between two or more parties. There is no agreement if one party does not confirm it, publicly or privately. Israel may have agreed, yes! But they did so privately for strategic purposes. The highest-ranking Iranian foreign policy official stated on his verified X account: "As of now, there is NO 'agreement' on any ceasefire." Iâm quoting his exact words -verbatim! The tweet is still publicly available. The Islamic Republic of Iran said NO. Its minister said NO. Polymarket has no other choice but to say NO. No buts, ifs, or ands.
2025-07-02 00:16:07
me too man! we're together on this!
2025-07-02 05:44:18
It ain't funny. It's a monument to misconduct, abuse of power and nepotism.
2025-07-02 20:03:59
Correction to a previous post: A ceasefire does not need to be signed to have legal force. Like any other agreement in the legal world, it can be established through a handshake, or even a public or private âwe agreeâ via any form of comms. What makes a huge difference in this market is that one party publicly said NO --and thatâs the critical argument here. An agreement such as a ceasefire requires mutual consent, as stated in the first paragraph of the âAboutâ section of this market. Remember the philosophy behind Polymarket, in which it operationalizes epistemic democracy, the idea that truth emerges not from authority, but from the transparent interaction of many minds, all motivated to be correct.
2025-07-02 20:56:46
how are you so sure? how do you know Shayne will review it?
2025-07-02 21:20:39
If this market is resolved YES, the epistemic democracy that underpins Polymarket will be shattered. Its very foundation will be thrown in the trash.

When's the reroll?
2025-07-04 08:18:49
Folks, FORGET the suit! This market is no longer about a suit --that has become totally irrelevant. This market is about whether Polymarket can step up and actually do something to prevent the blatant fraud taking place on the dispute resolution system they chose. Forget Zelensky and the suit. This is about the ethics of Polymarket as a serious enterprise.
2025-07-04 15:18:31
we don't need the law on our side. We need UMA on our side.

2025-07-04 15:46:34
Remember that market manipulation it's a crime under US law. If you are overseas, take into account that the FBI has an office on almost every American embassy, if not all. A complaint on multiple embassies will definitely get its attention into the matter. Polymarket management is responsible for not acting to stop the blatant fraud that it's happening.

2025-07-05 01:33:11
Easy to assume there are whales on both sides: the truthful and the non-truthful. Whales on both sides will try everything to win at all costs if the system allows it. Itâs PM's management that chose this system for dispute resolution. The responsibility lies with PolyHQ, with the system the company chose, which is neither just, fair, transparent, nor democratic.

2025-07-05 04:47:08
Folks, it doesnât matter anymore whether Zelensky wore a suit or not --itâs irrelevant. Not even Poly cares. The "No" side will win the next vote because UMAOO is extremely easy to manipulate. Poly will not intervene to do the right thing; they take a hands-off approach to market resolutions, unless there is clear evidence of a rules violation. There's only a violation to the truth, but they don't care because the profit is too high. That's why the market is still open for users to buy more. This has happened before in several previous markets. They also donât care about bad publicity --what matters to them is that people are talking about them. I feel terrible for Insectkiller. I donât know if itâs possible to recover from this, but I truly hope he can. Polymarket is not a safe space for predictions as long as they continue to rely on UMAOO.
2025-07-05 04:56:51

Polymarketâs handling of the Zelensky suit market constitutes market manipulation under New York law by allowing coordinated, bad-faith actions that distorted the market outcome. This behavior violates General Business Law 339-b and the Martin Act, which prohibit deceptive practices and fraudulent schemes in financial markets. Polymarketâs failure to intervene facilitated manipulation, exposing it to potential criminal liability.
2025-07-05 06:18:07
Someone in NYC, go get a public defender and do something about it! Polymarketâs handling of the Zelensky suit market and previous markets constitutes a crime called market manipulation under New York law by allowing coordinated, bad-faith actions that distorted the market outcome. This behavior violates General Business Law 339-b and the Martin Act, which prohibit deceptive practices and fraudulent schemes in financial markets. Polymarketâs failure to intervene facilitated manipulation, exposing it to potential criminal liability.

So Poly gets the volume higher. Poly doesn't care about truth. They are a company, they care about profit and profit only. It's a hard truth but it's the truth. Chances of yes are very low.

I did cash out my friend.

You donât need to be American to file complaint against Polym! Remember, Poly is already being investigated. Go to Dept of Justice & CFTC (Commodities regulator). Polym knows what is taking place on UMA and is doing nothing. Stop complaining here and take real action! Instructions are here: [link removed]

False. I know the guy. Stop throwing stupidities out of your mouth.
2025-07-05 18:21:58
Polymarket is already under civil scrutiny by the CFTC. FBI already sized Shayne Coplan's cellphone. Dept of Justice already on them on criminal investigation. Let's make more noise for criminal charges for allowing market manipulation, a crime under US law. Go file complaints! Instructions here: [link removed]

Polym uses uma to outsource blame. They know UMA is broken beyond repair but they continue to use it because is cleaner than resolving subjective markets (like the zelenskyy suit) internally and absorbing all the blame. We should really be mad at Polym for spending years twiddling their thumbs and snapping time magazine covers instead of iterating on resolution design.

Correct. Some people cannot afford the risk

No it's not. Polym chose UMA as a dispute resolution. They already know it's highly manipulative. They know and are responsible for chosing it, seeing the results and not changing it. It's easy better to have a human unbiased and board deciding the resolutions. You know who will work? A group of grandmas will do way better than UMAOO.
2025-07-05 22:33:23
A short conversation with Shayne Copeland on LinkedIn was leaked. I t was about the previous Venezuelan elections. He acknowledged that the whole UX (not the visuals as he emphasized) needed improvement, including UMA. He knows. He freaking knows. And decided to do nothing. As long as Polym continues using UMA as dispute resolution mechanism, bets on Polym will NOT be aligned with reality. Copeland is complicit to the fraud taking place in UMA by staying silent. Polym is not a safe place.
2025-07-05 23:13:12
Copy this into UMA discord: Definition of suit according Meriam-Webster: set of garments, usually including a jacket and trousers, made of the same fabric and designed to be worn together. What Zelensky wore fits that definition. Nothing more must be discussed.
2025-07-05 23:21:00
I care. Definitions matter. Otherwise everyone makes his own definition.
2025-07-06 16:26:29
Polym doesn't make decisions on market resolutions.
2025-07-06 22:56:41
Polym is registered in Panama as AdventureOneQSS Inc, company number 0640324408693872. They know UMA is not just, they don't do anything to stop it. I'm flying to Panama tomorrow. Contact me [link removed].com

Did someone notice that RiskLabs (creator and admin of UMA) is the 13th NO holder? Check it out on holders list. Conflict of interest? Of course there is a conflict of interest!!!! Screenshot taken in case they change it.
2025-07-06 23:53:13
Oh yes.... welcome to Poly&UMA

FYI, Polymarket has overruled UMA-based resolutions before (e.g., Barron Trump/DJT market).

On Discord, user borntoolate holding huge amounts of UMA tokens said "I need to consult with the other whales to make sure we're all on the same page. Showing a united front is critical for this vote". This fits in the definition of fraudulent collusion and market manipulation.

User davyjones, today 7/7/25 - "It doesn't matter about the suit. We have more UMA tokens. Im not losing my investment. Force it through" . And Polym has a market integrity dept. I wonder what the hell are they doing right now?!?!
2025-07-07 18:19:16
Arguments in favor are useless. Experience bettors control these high volume markets. They know what to do to control the outcome. PM knows it and doesnt do anything about it.

Zelensky would kick your ass blindfolded and wiith one hand

UMA is NOT an oracle! Far from it. It is the space where corruption and the criminal act of market manipulation are allowed to flourish. Allowed by whom? Yes sir, Polymarket.
2025-07-08 04:04:33
Can someone explain to the 26-year-old kiddo CEO of Polymarket what the hell is collusion and the crimes actually taking place inside UMA: 1. Market manipulation 2. Conspiracy to commit fraud 3. Fraud 4. Racketeering (if participation of several figures is confirmed) 5. POSSIBLE evidence suppresion
2025-07-08 15:26:54
4 individuals controlled 46% of UMA tokens. Do you think N holders wouldn't complain if Y holders have had 46% of UMA tokens?

5. Racketeering (if group of individuals repeatedly engage in fraudulent behavior, intentionally rig markets for profit and ensure results favor their financial bets over truth) 6. HEAR THIS OUT: If the proceedings of fraud and market manip enter the regular financial system (including crypto) guess which crime? No other than money laundry. Guess which LAW could be applied to prosecute? Not other than RICO Act! Against PM for allowing this to happen and not stoping it and for RiskLabs, creator and admin of UMA. Both!

Crimes committed inside UMA voting: 1. Market manipulation 2. Conspiracy to commit fraud 3. Fraud 4. Conflict of interest 5. Racketeering (a group of individuals repeatedly engage in fraudulent behavior, intentionally rig markets to ensure results favor their financial bets over truth). Law design to prosecute these types of crimes? RICO Act. Both Polym and RiskLabs are liable for it.

Market manipulation, quid pro quo arrangements for market manipulation (whale 50pence said: I have come to a deal with borntoolate - I have given up half of my profit from NO for him to vote with me P1), coercion (UMA voter said: you will be slashed if you dont vote P1), conspiracy to commit fraud, fraud (whale 50pence said: Imagine knowing pm is rigged and not betting on it being rigged), conflict of interest (whales with stake on the market take part on UMA voting), gross negligence by PM (failure to impose measures to prevent manipulation), breach of contract, breach of duty care, money laundering (proceedings from fraud enter regular banking system). RICO Act, same used for NY Cosa Nostra.

Whatever happens, this market will be resolved in UMA by @aenews, who is a holder of both Y and N on this market. He is the biggest holder of UMA tokens. He and other whales control every single vote on UMA.
