Alright boys, I’ll let you all in on a little secret. The browser was originally scheduled to be released on August 25. This is why acascuseme bought up a ton of Aug. Then approximately 2 weeks before that, it was delayed to “mid September” as of last week, it was on track for a September 29 general public release. OpenAI is definitely one to keep delaying releases (just look at GPT5), but anyone buying NOs here is genuinely just uninformed. Acascuseme is an OpenAI employee; the dude sold August browser the EXACT same day it was announced internally that it was being delayed to “mid September”. He got the GPT5 release date right exactly. Yes, his PnL is massively negative, but that’s only because he’s “down” on the browser by end of year contracts since there’s been a lot of theta.
